'Father' Jacob Henrici (1804-1892)immigrated from Bavaria (Germany)in 1824 to America and joined in 1826 the Harmony Society as a teacher. On Father Rapp's death (1847) he became the head of the Society for almost half a century and was "one of the pituresque figures of Western Pennsylvania".

I am working on a manuscript for a book on the Harmonists and wanted to know the cost and procedure for ordering several images either as photos or digititized.

Thank you for visiting us at Old Economy to celebrate Gertrude Rapp's 197th birthday! I am "young Gertrude" in PIC48691 and the "mother" of the silkworm pictured (as well as over a thousand others). I'd love to have copies of some of these pictures for my scrapbook, as my father (who usually takes pictures for me) was otherwise engaged (he's in picture 58677!).

Your pictures are beautiful. I have to get information of Old Economy Village for my Victorian America class, and i would like to use your photos. Please let me know if this is possible. Thank You!

I am planning to write a paper for my PA history class on Old Economy Village, and was wondering if you would allow me to use some of your photos. Thank you.
