Globe
"I have heard that this globe, which was fabricated decades ago for the Conlin Travel Service, and originally displayed at their storefront on South University, is the only piece of sculpture ever made by the famous Ann Arbor potter, J. T. Abernathy." --WAS, 06/30/06
"This was made/hung in 1960 when Tom Conlin opened his new office on South University across from the "Mud Bowl." The office is now (2009) the Maize and Blue Delicatessen. It now hangs on the corner of Libery and Maynard." --Chris Conlin, 02/22/09
"The Globe has been removed from Liberty and Manynard and is in storage." --Chris Conlin, 08/10/12
"The globe was sandblasted and repainted in 2013 and now hangs in the Leisure department of Conlin Travel. A new window had to be installed to get it into the building!" --Chris Conlin, 11/13/15
