Stationed at Barton Barracks HHC 141 SIG BN from Feb 1987 until Aug 1990. It was my first duty station and still remember so much from that place. It is amazing that after over 20 years in the Army I can still recall so much about Ansbach, my motorpool section, and others that left such an impression on my life. Truly miss those days and the friends that I made there. Take care my friends!

My dad was in the 48th Aviation Company. I lived many years in Ansbach, Katterbach and the surrounding area. My dad's name is Robert A. Tilka (Bob). I went to school at Barton Barracks and Ansbach American Middle/High School. I also got married in Ansbach, in 1982, but am now divorced.  I loved my life in Ansbach and wish I could be there now.  My parents lived there for over 35 years. Now stateside, but go back every year.
