Black Frame, ISO800, 30sec, with noise reduction
Unlike the D7 (see other album), the noise is uniformly distributed across the entire image, rather than showing two bright zones.

Black Frame, ISO800, 30sec, no noise-red, cam warm from use
This is the worst the noise gets.

Wide-Angle Example
28mm, P mode, ISO 100, Contrast -1, Sharpness Soft, X-Fine JPEG, all else default

Note: this was shot through a somewhat dirty window.

Full-zoom Example
200mm, P mode, ISO 100, Contrast -1, Sharpness Soft, X-Fine JPEG, all else default

This picture has been losslessly rotated with IrfanView and thus no longer contains the 640x480 thumbnail that Minolta places at the very end of the file (using a corrupted JPG SOI marker, but that's a separate issue).

Anti-Shake Example
Full zoom (200mm), 1/8 second, handheld.

Notice how blurred the people walking across the bottom of the frame are!

For another (admittedly uncharacteristically good) example of Anti-Shake, see here.

Ralf,
I'm looking forward to the completion of the A1 segment of your web-pages. I've always appreciated your enthusiasm for digital photography and your selfless sharing of any information that you have found to be of importance.
I'm using a Kodak DC290 at present and I have several of your scripts on my CF-card.
It seems that no matter which camera you choose to work with, your results are always first class.
Please keep up the good work.
