One of my own home brew RF amplifier projects: Modification of a Motorola Quarter Kilowatt Power Amplifier into a 5000-6000 Watt Output 144-146 MHz Linear. The input circuits and output tank was completely redesigned and the small conduction cooled tubes replaced with Eimac 8877/1500A7 triode tubes.

After this one was built and the modification info was published, several others were built by Amateur Radio operators for this use around the world.
