Sonny Therapy Dog

Sonny lost his battle with bone cancer tonight, he went peacefully in our arms.. he left on his terms, and walked out into the sunshine.. RIP Sonny

Weep not for me though I am gone
Into that gentle night
Grieve if you will, but not for long
Upon my soul's sweet flight.
I am at peace, my soul's at rest
There is no need for tears.
For with your love I was so blessed
For all those many years.
There is no pain, I suffer not,
The fear now all is gone.
Put now these things out of your thoughts,
In your memory I live on.
Remember not my fight for breath
Remember not the strife
Please do not dwell upon my death,
But celebrate my life.
January 31 2008. Sonny was diagnosed tonight with osteosarcoma. its in his lungs already, and both his front legs. the vet is giving him 1-5 months left to live.. he is on pain medication for the pain and meds for the inflamation in his one front left leg..

Nov 19, 2005- Sonny PASSED his Therapy Dog Test!! he is now a Certified Therapy Dog!!!!
Sonny was adopted by my family in October 2001. He was 6 1/2 years old when we adopted him in October 2001. His Birthdate is around July 5th 1995. He appreciates the second chance at life in a home and not in a shelter. Please consider adopting a rescue/shelter dog if you are bringing a dog into your house. They appreciate the chance at life, and are very grateful. Sonny is housebroken, trained, and is a all around happy go lucky dog.
