Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal
dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to
Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends
so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and
sunshine and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor;
those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we
remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy
and content, except for one small thing: they each miss someone very
special, someone who was left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops
and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; his eager body
begins to quiver. Suddenly, he breaks from the group, flying over the green
grass, faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when ...

July 2004-Sept 2008
Ellie has a sweet quiet disposition.  She likes being outside for hours, even in the winter.  She will spend time in the woods looking for things to dig up or deer to chase.

On Wednesday Sept 24, 2008 in the dark early morning hours we found that Ellie had passed away.  We let her outside at her usual time 5:15am, while it was raining, and lighting...we can only assume that lightning got to her. She had always been in excellent health.  We will forever miss her precious presence.

Ritz, our Border Collie/Golden cross was taken from us much too early.  She passed away from Megaesophagus, an auto immune disease.  This is the last photo taken of her before her diagnoses one week later.  The disease casued her to contract pneumonia. Drug therapy did not reverse her condition.  We miss you Ritzy poo.  1996-July 27, 2006

Bowzer
Bowzer was a dogs dog.  We aquired him as a young puppy, and we believe his early life did not include socialization.  He was very independent and prefered to be with dogs then people.

Cindy and Doug,

I am sorry to hear about this, my prayers are with you and your family! I feel your loss.  I just lost my oldest Baby Girl to the road a week ago today.  I still have not clue as to how she got out in the front.  I am still at a loss to why she was even in the road.  The fence was as secure as it has always been.  I did not see this until today
Take care

Every place we go people say that she is just the most precious sweetheart.  Take Care, our Prayers are always with you & your family.  God Bless you & yours.  Carolyn

Cindy and Doug,
When Jeffrey and I read the news today, we just couldn't believe it.  We are so very sorry for your loss. Please take pride in all the lives that Ellie has helped to make happier.  She is a wonderful girl who made beautiful babies. Gracie, Roxy, Jeffrey and I are thinking of you. Cindy,  I can't believe Ellie is gone.  I'll always remember her insisting on sitting on her own chair at the last show.  It was so much fun watching her (and you) develop your confidence. e was such a sweet, beautiful girl.   We will miss her.   Jan, Bob, Zen, Dee Dee and Magic
