CT. Pet Expo Oct.009 (October 28, 2009)Robin, Virginia, Mary, and I have been attending the Pet Expo representing our Rat Terriers (and AHT's) for 12 years. Here we meet and greet the attendees and answer questions on our breed. We also participate in the AKC Parade of Breeds Showcase.
Each year the number who attend grows, with this year being the biggest ever.
It is a fun time as we get to introduce people to our beloved Rat Terriers, let them socialize with our dogs and puppies, and also promote responsible ownership while trying to assist in placing some of the dogs in breed rescue. |

Terrier Racing September 2009 (September 21, 2009)I was a judge for the TR trials in Enfield, CT.
We held flat and steeple racing on both days (Sept. 19th and 20th).
We also held fun runs for our dogs. We had Rat Terriers, Teddy Roosevelt Terriers and a Patterdale. |

Conformation judge at Sleeping Giant (January 12, 2009)I was honored to be one of the two emergency fill-in judges for Sleeping Giant Kennel Club in Hamden, CT. on January 10, 2009.
There were two conformtion shows with every group represented.

We particiapte in the "Parade of Breeds" as well as the "meet and greet the breeds" which the public is invited to attend. They also have a rare breeds dog and cat show each day. |
