these are family photos of paige, manda jon, and various animals that wandered in the line of site of camera.
the last pic of landscape is totally gone, all my ivy and thick trees were "trimmed" and now the place looks like it was in a war zone. i'm not a happy camper. i'll replant...

1 paige at 2. with out the shoe on her head see, it was her birthday and she didn't tell us she wanted party hats. till the party was over. papa did what he could to help, all the stores were closed, he grabbed one of her white lace up high top tennies... and balanced it on his head. and was convincing her it was really a party hat. so he talked her into putting a shoe on her head too. i got the shot.
she then made me take the shoe off the top of her head and we got this.
it sums up the moment so well.
2 i have toes i was so thrilled to introduce paiges toes to her...she had no idea what those were, or why they were there.
she learned they are tasty
3 fathers day 2003 this is jon, manda and paige on the first official father's day paige was around for. she seemed impressed to me.
so did the other two
4 such dolls when manda was a kidlet she had the whole collection of the My Friend Mandy dolls, Fisher Price. seemed fair to find a set for paige. thank you ebay. "I love this picture of Paige with he..." View Comments...
5 paige at 2 paige has grown some in this pic and she is resting her head, on her grandfather jon.... a very common pose, they both love it...
6 was my fur rug kidlet quickly discovered the sheepskin rug i bought for me to use on my bed, was much nicer for her.
7 surprise have no clue what she thought was in store for her, but it looks like she thought it was time for her temp to be taken....
8 more dolls she sure was tickled by something the dolls told her, she giggled for at least an hour while she played.
9 sunset1 took this on our way home on mom's 80th birthday...it is over the bay, coming from benicia, ca toward our home in pinole. just got it but it should have a few palm trees and be located in Hawaii.....
10 karat and punkin ok, many of you heard stories of karat, our rhodesian ridgeback from the kennels of Fire Mountain Gems. her dad was PC and mom, Sassy Dog. we were lucky to have her almost 10 years.
she slept all four legs in the air, on her back, sorta like dead dog records...and thought she was mother to all kittens who got dumped here. we always found homes for unwed mom cats and the babies. this one we kept, she wanted to play but karat was asleep, so she did the next best thing, waited till "mom" woke up. she fell asleep on the dog and they both slept for hours.
only the strange here at our house guys.... we still have a ridgeback, armanti bwana who is 4. he is a liver and not bright at all. fits in very well here...
11 ok, this side is clear we had just gotten home from a road trip, and the dogs decided they wanted to continue to travel... big one is armani-bwana little guy is brutus the short.
12 jon and paige holding hands paige had been upset about something, and first thing she did was run to "puppa" or poppie as he is known to her...later she slid her other hand into his wrist watch. i saw it as darling...he said she was trying to lift it. once a cop always a cop....
13 wait, it's quiet....ahhhh paige at rest. doesn't happen often but she loves to climb in bed with me and watch the bigscreen tv with me ... i had the hospital bed moved into livingroom with everyone else....
she is one great snuggler
14 see i told you ridgebacks have no bones...at least in their necks....
15 paige turned 2 she is grampa's girl...or pup-pa as he is known ....i'm nana i wanted to be granny or grams i got nana. it's ok, she actually calls us nanapup=pa or pup-panana like we are one person. well been married 28 years, guess that counts as one person
16 freeform beaded bracelet i used prestrung beads of assorted sizes and shapes in white and gold tones, then made a simple base crocheted bracelet. i then did some freeform work, some double and some slip stitches, some chain, some afghan stitches.
very freeform and wonderful.
17 contest piece1 i entered a contest. using faceted gemstones, which i find i'm addicted to, i created a necklace wire wrapping the stones to a base of afghan stitched, necklace. the center piece drops to a v, with an emerald cut lemon citrine, and other stones in the piece are emerald, smoky topaz, blue leopard topaz (very blue sparkle) zandrite colorchange and amethyst.
fingers crossed...
i lost out to a table top encrusted with gemstones and crystals and a horse bridle... better luck next time...
18 paige and grampa this is paige at 2 1/2 or so she had gone to sleep and when she awoke, was shocked to find her grandfather had gotten a haircut. a big haircut. i must have cut 2" off, he had enough to have a short pony tail... she kept running her hands over what i left and asking if nana pat knew he had no hair.
he still had the beard. see, he retired from the Feds.....
19 paige really liked his hair she really got a kick out of his no hair hair. think E2. the beard was there for another 5 months.
20 paige and pointy hat well cake and grandpa now we remembered party hats. we had them all over the place. we had forgotten them for her birthday party,in april. so this was june and a happy birthday party it was, with a huge cake and hats... all for Brutus, our dog. and we still have hats hidden, every so often we drag one out and make it available for her to wear. we shall not forget again! dang, i felt awful. you sorta had to be there

21 1bruti the brave he was waiting for cake. he always seems to know when it is for him. he gets cake, no icing and a bit of ice cream. he is almost 9 wow.
22 0always lean on me these are our two jailhouse cats, Missy D'Meanor and Felly O'Knee, were raised in a cellblock of Sonoma county jail by inmates as the kits were too small to make it without a mama cat. jon named them you can take the cop out of a uniform, but......
when we went back for the third, a beautiful grey Wabbler, see a cop can make the call on some points of arrest to call a felony or misdom.. you get the idea. they loved us at animal services. they were sorry when we hit limit cause they liked our names.

24 06-09-08 we have indeed jumped ahead to age 5. i have inbetween, well not between 3and4, b ut i can fill in some
25 07-25-08 1549 NHRA races and this booth had a cycle and a background that spins and paige had a ball loved the funny cars and rails
26 round and round and round she goes paige and amanda spent a week with our best friends Bill and Sharon at Mt Hermom, in the Santa Cruz mountains. one afternoon they hit the boardwark. the rest of the time was spent in Bible study and games and wonderful fellowship.
27 05-27-08 no bangs it was decided that no more bangs, so life is tough. she will not believe i will apply hair goo called library paste... she was heard to say "...and not staples either nana" i don't know where she gets that humor.

30 feb 16 08 6 flags vallejo ca mandy and paige, it was paige's pre school graduation present from us. i won't tell you how much 4 hamburgers and frys cost. (58.00) could have been how many swarov...never mind. it was for paigie
