So Padre Is (4/13/11)| During our travels through southern Texas we stayed a week on South Padre Island. We went to the Sea Turtle Rescue Center, where we saw an injured turtle with a special prosthesis so it couuld swim and Spunky Turtle was born. |

Port Aransas Visit (4/18/2011)| Next we visited Port Aransas on North Padre Is. This is a tourist town/area across the bay from Corpus Christi. On one end of the island you can drive on to th island however on the north end youhave to take a ferry to leave get back to the main land. |

Minn Visit May 2011 (6/3/2011)| We went to Minnesota to visit Pat's siblings. While there we spent time at his sisters lake home on Lake Alexander. We also made a side trip to New Holland, Pennsylvania to celebrate Susan's Mom's 95th Birthday. |

Theodore Roosevelt Ntl Prk (6/12/2011)| After our return from PA we headed to Portland, Oregon. We only made one unscheduled stop for more then a day and that was at Theodore Roosevelt National Park, in North Dakota. It is a combination of Arizona's Painted Desert and South Dakota's Bad Lands rolled into one. We took the South Unit driving tour of 36 miles. What a treat! |

July & Aug Adventures (August 30, 2011)| In July and August this year we were very busy with family gathering on the 4th and then several visitations from our friends. We visited sights around Long Beach Peninsula. Although in August we made our annual pilgrimage to Cathlamet Washington for the cruiser rendezvou. Our "large" city we go to is Astoria. We visited the Astoria Column. |

September Adventures (September 30, 2011)| In September we went to Wallowa Lake State park near Joesph in NE Oregon. On our return trip we stopped in Bend Oregon to visit some friends and also stopped at a nice park along the Columbia River on the way to Portland. |
