This is what I am looking for walleyes when shooting Side Imaging from my Terrova. I call them "ghosts".

Here is a shot where I was using the big motor "hunting for eyes"  When the school appeared on the 1198 on the Terrova, I hit "spot lock and you can see the change in color when the Terrova kicked in and turned the boat around and took me from 3 mph to .6 by the time it started to lock up.  You can barely see the fish on the left side as the Terrova sneaks up on them.  (fish on the right going byu. Terrova turns around and now fish on the left)

which side are you going to cast out on?

color difference is from when the Terrova isn't running (darker) to when it was (lighter)

You want to pitch to 20 or to 1 walleye?

Anybody else looking for fish in 8 feet of water using 160 feet of range each way?

Going to 160 feet was kind of an experiment for me, as the school kept moving and I had to hunt them down again. More range made that considerably easier!

Obviously, with more range, you have to adjust what you are looking for as a target. but it worked real well and I will continue to expand my range to see exactly how far I can target them away from the boat.

After damaging two transducer cables routed in the shaft, I decided to go all in with an internal cable.  This is incredibly slick!

Current running direction of the 19 foot contour line.  These walleyes are tucked behind this point and hiding right up against the ledge that forms the end of the point.  Water flowing down river the diection of the 19 foot contour, but where the fish are laying the current is circling around and coming back into the main channel following the 13 foot contour line, forming a neutral position on the end of the point.  The dark part of the image is when the trolling motor isn't running the lighter is when it is..

Same image only with a little different boat direction and the trolling motor running continuous through the image. Again, same fish, only "ghostier" with the trolling motor running. And yes, they were on all sides of the boat.:)
