Polly's Tour de Canal
Polly was joined by nine other members of OHBTC and several other cycling friends for her 30-mile Tour de Canal ride. She led the ride up the C&O Canal to Great Falls, back down MacArthur Blvd. to the Capital Crescent Trail, up the trail to Bethesda and back, and back to her house for a delicious lunch.

I am a Cumberland native and as such I grew up near the canal. I wasn't quite walking distance, and when I was younger it was certaintly far enought that the mother would not have me riding the bike. Now that I'm older and out of the house though I enjoy spending time along the canal (both biking and walking). I enjoyed your pic's and thought every one might be interested in the page I just put up at http://www.wigfield.org/canal/ . These are pictures taken along the canal in the Cumberland area.
