mites boys (August 12, 2009)As you can see, Van Winkle and his brother Mickey were terribly neglected when they were dumped in a shelter. They were malnourished and suffering from a severe case of mange mites. They are actually pretty vocal and sweet despite their condition. They are good hay and veggie eaters, gobbling everything in sight. Although they are stunted, they do not appear to be older than a year.
They will be in foster care for at least 3 months before they can be put up for adoption. If you would like to donate towards their on-going care |

Our most Successful Supply Day...EVER! (February 17, 2008)This was really our most successful supply day ever.
7 bales of hay, 40 bags of bedding, 170 pounds of pellets, lots of cozies, cuddle cups, etc, and 3 pairs of pigs went to new homes. |
