An excellent special edition LP Gold Top. Did not make many of these that's why it's special! Forerunner to VOS spec guitars. Rare and collectible.
Info direct from Gibson Customer Service follows: "Serial number and pictures links to a guitar LP Standard Goldtop in Antique Gold finish, chrome hardware, made in 1996 in Nashville US. Again, the Limited Edition it’s because of the finish which was not part of the regular production of the LP Standard. Probably was a special order from a dealer because I could see the guitar was originally distributed by Guitar Center in the US. Guitar specs of a LP Standard from 1996 (except color).
Pickups: Rhythm: 490-R Alnico magnet HB. Treble: 498-T Alnico magnet HB
Controls: Two Volume two tone, 3 way switch.
