Gibson SG Special 1964 vintage white | Very cool players vintage Gibson SG Special guitar with some changes. Had re finish a long time ago and now sporting a vintage white finish. Head stock has been repaired I assume at the same time as the re finish. Very good job and is hardly noticeable. Neck pickup not original. Looks like a 1970's Gibson unit. Brazilian rosewood neck with a lot of life left in the excellent original frets. Nice straight neck and good action. A great playing/ sounding SG. |

Zither Menzenhauer Oscar Schmidt Friederich Menzenhauer patent Zither.
It is reported that Friederich Menzenhauer was the father of the guitar-zither in the United States. He was granted the first patent, whose date is shown on instruments made by various manufacturers. Many Zithers were produced by Osca Schmidt and I expect this is one of them. My guess is this Zither dates to circa 1890. If you have more information I would love to hear from you. |

Fender Telecaster S8 serial number Black | Nice condition Tele with an S8 serial number. S8's can date across a wide range or years and this dates to the last year of Telecaster production 1981. Pot codes are 1981 and wiring is also from that era. Same serial number and a date tag are in the neck pocket. One string bush appears to new changed. See pics. Once again a nice Tele from the heavier period. Few marks and dings but nothing troublesome. Good straight neck and plenty of life left in the frets. Comes in a non original hard case. |

Fender Telecaster Thinline 1975 Natural | Nice playing thinline from 1975. These are fitted with the original Seymour Duncan design Wide Range Humbuckers unlike the reissues. This is an almost de-finished guitar apart from under the pic guard where complete original finish still resides. Finish has been taken back to the base coat. Difficult to show in the pictures. I can only assume someone way back wanted to remove the original heavy polly finish to get a more resonant Telecaster. Still looks a very cool guitar. It has nicks and dings but nothing troublesome. Pots have been changed again looks like 80's pot code dates and one changed screw in pickup mounting. Neck code dates to 75 as does the serial number. Nice straight neck with plenty of life left in the frets. Comes in what may be the original Fender Logo plastic case> All latches work fine but one broken (now gaffa tape) hinge. |

Martin 0018 G 1961 classical acoustic | Nice guitar from 1961. Inlays were professionally added in 1982. Has two unrepaired cracks. One to the top and one to the back. Comes in the non original case pictured. This guitar can be set up with light silk and steel or with classical, nylon strings. The neck is a reasonable, 1-7/8" at the nut with a comfortable shape. This guitar can be played classically or, more likely used as a "folksinger's" guitar. |

Hagstrom J45 archtop electro acoustic 72 Info from Harstom Vintage Guitars SE: Your Hagström J-45 guitar was made in the first half of 1972. Hagström acoutsics were actually not made by Hagström, but by a subcontractor, Bjärton, another Swedish guitar maker. The top is spruce, the neck, sides and bottom are mahogany, the fretboard is rosewood. It has an adjustable steel bridge and inside the neck is the famous Hagström H-profile aluminum trussrod. Hagström acoustics were quite popular in the 70s and were played by people such as David Bowie, Cat Stevens and Genesis. |

Nice straight neck and good frets. Checker binding in good condition. All electronics work as they should and come with the correct 3 pic guitar lead. |

National Style 1 resonator mandolin 1928 National STYLE 1 one single cone metal body MANDOLIN 1928
Serial #427. It has a good playing neck with worn, but good frets. It's all original and 100% complete along with its original hardshell case. There's a long hairline crack along with bass side of the neck, and another hairline crack along the edge of the treble side of the headstock. The cracks have not opened, and do not seem to be a threat to the structural integrity of this 1st year Style 1. Other than that, there is normal cosmetic wear. This vintage mandolin sounds incredible while providing a very unique tone. |
