Roses and hydranges add charm to this old teacart. I marbelized the background in beige tones.

Prior to painting on this piece it was a dark stained pine.  I painted the background white, slipslapped green and burnt umber wash on it...then handpainted irises.

Magnolias and roses add charm to this vintage old trunk..I painted the straps to look like old worn leather.

Another new piece of furniture...Client wanted it crackled...it was white..I had to sand, basecoat black, then crackle, topcoat with white.

Its hard to get even crackles when you crackle a piece this large all over...this time it turned out great...

The buffet before starting..it was painted with a brown glossy paint.. UGH!!!

Ive primed with Kilz and started the marbelizing on the top and the 2 front panels

I marbelized the top using about 4 colors...The client wants a soft vintage look.

Ive put on the basecoat color of the piece..used a mixture of ivory and buttercream.. also did the edges using Gleams 14k Gold..

the middle drawers have a great frame around them after painting with the gold..perfect for what Im going to paint in the middle

Added the vintage roses and hydrangeas..

Used lots of beiges, golden hues to paint the roses...hydrandgeas are done with white, ivory and greens.
Next come the legs...then FINI....

Finished chest with its new "old" hardware...I gave the old hardware new life with a hammered silver spray paint...the silver adds to the soft look of the chest.

Hydrangeas add to the shabbychic look of this small round table.

I fauxed the legs of the small table in a copper and did a smooshing technique for the green tabletop..
