Just returned from a month in Uttarakhand and a brief pilgrimage to the Kainchi Ashram. The vibes are so peaceful there. I sat next to Baba's seat and could only imagine the light that must have surrounded the ashram back in the early days.

Looking to connect with friends from the Palo Alto Ananda Marga ashram ca. 1973. I was a roommate with Nachiketa (aka Steven Richheimer). I never had the honor of Maharajji's darshan, but all these wonderful photos and the stories that attend them are an inspiration. What joy!

I have lots of old pictures from early days in India (mostly from Ganji Sah studio) and will try to send them on when I get back to California. Photo 7 above was actually taken at the Alpert farm in Franklin, NH, in 1974. Love and pranams to all I haven't seen for sooo long.

Would like to get in touch with Jai Lakshaman das, American disciple of Babaji. We (Me, you, & Ram Dass met at a lecture in Atlanta in 1990, shortly before I went to Badrinath. You were so nice and kind by taking my address & later sending me a spiral bound photo album. i have never forgotten you and Ram Dass' kindness.
