Waffle
Saturday night....April 29....The ferals in the backyard had litters a few days ago. I heard a kitten screaming, the usual wailing a kitty makes while the Mama moves the nest and the baby is alone for a few minutes. But this time, the wailing didn't stop. At 2 AM, it became apparent Mama was *not* coming back for one. Armed with flashlight, I ventured out, and found what you see below.... I fed him sugar water, and went in the AM to get the substitute Mothers milk...I was NOT going to keep this one, I was going to make sure he was okay and find him a home, I was *NOT* going to keep him.... HA! Needless to say, Waffle quickly made his way into my heart, and is now the friendless, purriest kitten I have ever known. My sister makes endless efforts to steal him, but he is mine, all mine! Mommy's little Nerf Herder...He loves to wake me up several times a night by purring and trying to stick his whole head up my nose. Ah, well, who needs sleep when you have a love kitten? He's awfully Wafflely!

They are soooo adorable. As Momma to three right now,I've had a couple that came in the middle of the night, hungry and separated from their moms. My first cat was a little guy when we got him and we put him inside an empty tissue box!

hey waffle! I have a cat.I have had her for two months. She is Indian that is why i think she is phsicho. She acts like a tiger and wont stop bitting me!Ouch!!!!!!!!!!! there she goes again! love, C.J.

I have a cat "Elvira" I have had her for 7 years. If she wants to be petted she will tap you even in the middle of the nite.

Finger Monster!
Little bigger, little fluffier, much more fierce! At this point, he was named, catch-phrased ("He's awfully Wafflely!") and I was hooked. Waffle had officially become a Mewchowsen VonSmoochenstein.

Wiffle
4 weeks later, to the day, I heard more mewing, and found Wiffle! Had the strength and common sense (SO unlike me!) and handed her over to my sister, Katie, who re-named her Sophie. (Note the orange heart on her forehead!) She'll always be Wiffle to me...
