Image one I found mid-February floating in Tampa Bay at low tide. Since then I have found another cluster in the water without the color and some dried ones along the water's edge.
Image two I found while fishing in shallow waters in Terra Ceia Bay off of Palmetto, FL. There were a cluster of them which made this area look like a small strawberry field. We removed one for the photo then returned it.
Does anybody know what they are?
