I also put a small dart just beyond the top part of the trim going straight up to the neck, creating more room for the shoulders as well. It was a turnover of 1" on the neck seam towards the withers. This allowed for a better fit.

If it isn't moved to cover the trim on the front edge, the top corner is constantly getting turned over and it will pull on the trim all the time, eventually wearing it out.
