There should be a small divit in the middle of the the top and one near the hook that has been flattened so whoever installs it will know where to drill a pilot hole for a finish head screw like a GRK 2" (which has a small head) and is brass, or whatever the installer feels you want. There is enough metal to be able to countersink it to be flush with the top.
