Trip to the Middle East (April 2012)| I spent 2 weeks in the Middle East--2 days in Egypt, 3 days in Amman, Jordan, and a week in Israel--3 days in Tiberius and 4 days in Jerusalem. No photos could capture the moving and inspiring sites we visited, but hopefully they will inspire the viewers to learn more and plan their own visit to the Middle East. And I can relive the trip each time I look at them. |

Escorting Ted to LDS BC (September 2-5, 2011)| Doug's 2nd son, Ted, will attend LDS Business College in Salt Lake City this fall. His family drove him down to SLC this weekend and got him settled in his apartment. I flew down and spent the weekend having fun with them. |

Laurie and I took a tour of the historic Bush house while Alan and the boys waited for us. It was one of the most interesting old homes I have ever visited. |

Mt Hamilton climb on 80 degree Saturday (April 12, 2008)| Alan, Laurie, Byron, 12, David, 8, and Byron's friend Bethan, also 12, and I climbed Mt Hamilton in the Columbia River Gorge on the nicest, warmest day we've had this year. It was just perfect hiking weather. There were lots of other hikers, most with beagles. We had a wonderful time and the views, as always, were spectacular. |

Fuzzy shots of orchids | These photos turned out badly but I'm keeping them in this album for my eyes only, to help me remember the wonderful time I had at the orchid farm and the orchid nursery in Rioja. The last half of the photos are professional orchid photos off the internet. I was trying to match the ones I saw in Peru so I could replace my bad photos with the good ones. The switch was duly noted in my Peru albums. |
