4. Good Guys Rhinebeck Show (June 27, 2009)

The Good Guys Car Show is one of the biggest in the Country. The Shows in California and Columbus Ohio being the monsters, but upstate New York gets their share every June. This year I got to go and got some shots of the entries.

I finally dug myself out of the financial hole I'd been living in, purchased a '94 Chevy S-10 pickup and immediately began thinking of ways to Kustomize it. Since I' moved in with my father who's an obsessive packrat, there's virtually no place for me to work on this project, making the job doubly tough.

7. Bathroom makeover (March 6, 2008)

A couple of years ago I had a my bathroom redone. Unfortunately the painters never heard of masking tape, screwdrivers, drop cloths or rags to wipe up spills. I had intended to redo the bathroom when I had some spare cash. That time never arrived, now that I've run out ofmoney and can no longer afford to live here, I'll leave the landlords with a gift by painting the bathroom myself.

8. What's up door? (February 21, 2008)

A couple of summers ago, my landlord informed me that he wanted to redo my bathroom and it would take several days. I told him that I could not be without the use of a toilet for several days, and the only time the work could be done was when the Racing Season was in Saratoga. When I returned, the bathroom was completed, but the painters did a hatchet job. I decided to try and hide some of their blunders by painting over the drips and smears. This is my first attempt at creating a faux window.

I got the cast off right at the heart of the holiday season, and having been out of work, I decided to take the old adage about, "It's The Thought That Counts" to heart.
