Fantastic photographs!! You really set a high standard. Can't wait until I take a trip to TX next March for my son's wedding in SA. There will be more than wedding pictures taken. The wildflower hunter - W. E. Ottinger | www.wildflowerhunter.net, Fri, 22 Sep 2006 11:05AM
Thanks for sharing these wonderful pics. I haven't been out looking yet this season but we will definitely take a rise this weekend. - Toni-Ann Mistretta, Tue, 18 Apr 2006 11:41AM
The red flowers in your last pictures are red corn poppies. Wildseed Farms near Fredericksburg usually plants several large fields of these each year. You can see some pictures at their website. - Gary R, Mon, 10 Apr 2006 11:27AM
Thank you so much for your entries on the Lone Star site. 2 friends and I from Minnesota came down for the flowers and were able to see it all, thanks to the site and the entries. We would have missed the whole thing without this, because we originally were headed to Fredericksburg. Truly a wonderful show and wonderful welcome from Texans. Thank-you, thank-you. - karen , Mon, 10 Apr 2006 9:58AM

Dear Bill, Thank you for sharing those beautiful pictures with me and being so kind as to show everyone such beauty. We (My mother and I) were in Katrina in New Orleans and the only beauty we have seen since then has been in Texas. I'm 60yrs. and mom is 89yrs. so starting over has been hard. The kindness and sharing people of Texas have made us want to stay here. We have nothing to return to but the beauty and kindness of Texas will be enough for the rest of our lifetimes. Thank ya'll so much. Sincerely, JR Jeanette Riviere and Inez Maysonave formally of N.O.L.A. - Jeanette Riviere | none, Thu, 6 Apr 2006 12:34PM
Very nice! I was trying to decide if it was worth making the yearly wildflower jaunt this spring. Your photos have me ready to pack the car. Thanks! - Kathy, Thu, 30 Mar 2006 8:47PM
