Please remove my first comment - I was mistaken in thinking the squares weren't used - apparently they were made into pillows.

Mary, the quilt is beautiful. The pillows are cute! And the wall hanging is awesome. And so are you guys who put it all together from all the many different types of squares that were sent to you from volunteers. This is my first quilt I've made squares for, and even with my novice attempts, you made them look grand!

1	2 Gorgeous unfinished wall-hanging. This will be finished by our wonderful quilter, Elen, when she returns from her vacation the first week of August. It will be included in the raffle by Ratbone Rescue. Dot Lewis--you made this last project for Elen and I worth-while by making these two blocks to remind everyone that THIS is what rescue should be like--from the sad beginnings of a puppy (sometimes) born in a shelter to the happy digging dog living a new, blessed life. Thank you!	3 The finished 2008 Ratbone Rescue Quilt. Thank you again, Elen, for making another beautiful offering to help the dogs of Ratbone Rescue. Thanks also to all of the wonderful folks who took the time to make blocks--and make no mistake, every single one was used--just take a look at what beauty your work has made!

7	8	9 Beautiful pillows to go with the quilt. These two blocks were lovingly made by Mari K. Thank you, Mari!
10	11	12 Our dear friend Bonnie Turner and many of her beloved dogs were taken from us in a Tornado this year. We have lovingly remembered both Bonnie and the dogs that held her heart in their tiny paws on this quilt.
