During my last month at work (before moving to a different company), I went to Tokyo to wrap up loose ends and properly exit my duties over there.  It was a sad trip, as I had enjoyed working with our Japan Office co-workers and also was captivated by the Japanese culture.  I'll be back...

Otani Shrine at the Hotel
This was my view for breakfast every day.  The New Otani Hotel was on the site of this ancient Japanese garden.

Good Luck Charm
Near the shrine, there's a place where you can write a special prayer on a wooden tablet and hang it here.  I wrote a prayer for a wonderful and healthy future for my daughter.
