How the Universe Can and Might Be This is my review of an important new book, “Cosmic Jackpot: Why Our Universe Is Just Right for Life” by Paul Davies (2007).  Davies critically examines different hypotheses about single and multiple universes - from both scientific and philosophical viewpoints.  Two MS Word files are included: (1) a copy of my review for Amazon.com and (2) a rebuttal to my review and my reply to same, also posted on Amazon.com, plus some related emails.
