Rancho Rupa! Welcome to our first home together! Dion and I are very excited about this first huge step we are taking together! The house is located in the wonderful town of Kings Park on the North Shore of Long Island. It was built in 1986 and has only had one owner!
There is a huge lot, plenty of room in the backyard for a pool, deck, and BBQ!, high cathedral vaulted ceilings, and 8-foot high ceilings in a FULL basement! The home is new, move-in ready and has sooooo much potential. We cannot wait to make this gem our own.
We plan to 'greenovate' as much as possible, starting with the kitchen countertops and moving on from there. We already can't wait to invite everyone over, this is such an exciting time for us!!

The Rupa Whispering Willow Resort Well, here are a few pictures of the current apartment we are living in. It is virtually twice the size of our old place together plus it is in a much nicer location and closer to the main part of Commack. I've tried to give each room in the apartment it's own distinct theme that reflects us in some way. It's pretty much an open floorplan with a nice size kitchen and over-sized bedroom with two closets - great for costumers like us.
A little backstory about our name: Our first place was D&T's B&B for Dion & Tanya's Bed & Breakfast since the place was small and sweet. Well, our new place is in a complex all of its own complete with laundry facility, party room, excersize room, garages, and playground so hence the 'resort'. We added the willow part because of this beautiful Weeping Willow in the courtyard in front of our home. And since we're married now, no need to say D&T, it's just The Rupa's. LOL.
We plan to be here for a couple of years to save up enough money for a house. We love the area, though we wish we were closer to some of our friends, but it's a great neighborhood and it suits us well. |

D&T's B&B (Oct 15, 2003 - Oct 1, 2005)Our First place together! It will always be remembered fondly. We lived here for two great years leading up to our wedding. And once the gifts started coming in, we quickly realized that we needed a bigger place. LOL.
Here are just a few pics of our first home. |
