1 8/16/07: So... Rosie has mastitis and a bacterial infection. So we had to keep the pups off Rosie as much as possible for a few days. Rosie still wants to be with them, though. So we rigged this t-shirt (Texas A&M, of course!) so that the pups can't nurse. "Thank you so much, for sha..." "Oh how I wish I could have..." View Comments...
2 The pups are eating some baby rice ceral with formula 2 x a day, They dont' let like puppy gruel (puppy chow blended to a liquid with formula). I promise to get some pics or video of them all diving into the cereal pan! Meanwhile, they are allowed to nurse again - oh joyous day!!!

18 OK< time for individual shots! Like all bassets, they refuse to pose - but I did the best I could. Lucy - 3 weeks old.
19 Lucy.... OK,s ome of them have sore spots on their tails or paws. The pups have ringworm - 5 of them have it. But some medicine will fix them right up in a couple of weeks!
