Bears!
| We ran into these big guys on the way back from Whistler. Although it is getting late into Spring, the huge snowpack is keeping the bears close to the valley bottom. These two were right on highway 99, about half way between Squamish and Whistler. They didn't think much of the large number of cars that stopped to observe them, and crossed the highway at their leisure. These images are taken from about 50 metres away. |
