Crown Mountain
Crown Mountain is the highest of the peaks accessible from the Grouse Mountain area. Although not very far in terms of distance, reaching the summit involves a steep descent from Goat Ridge into Crown Pass and a steeper reascent on the other side. The roots and rocks on the trail provide lots of entertainment, and getting to the top requires a few scrambling moves. At the summit area you get great views of peaks all around and a front seat to see the Camel, a rocky formation none of us will be climbing anytime soon.
