My gr. gr. grandmother, Nancy Emily Johnson McRae (d. 10-17-1865) is supposed to be interred in a cemetery in Worth County,GA 12 miles from Albany. Does anyone know which cemetery this might be?

So wonderful to discover this website, I never knew it existed! My grand parents were John C. Thompson and Eula Willis Thompson, both buried here.
I have been on a quest to locate a hardcopy of Worth County History, both volumes, and discovered this site in my quest.  Please contact me if you know how I might obtain one or both of these books.

Does anyone have any information about Mary Willis Woodard.  She lived with Benjamin Willis when she was 24 and he was 76 and there were other people in the  house by the name of Smitt.
She had three children.  Mary JaneWoodard born 1846, William Allen Woodard born 1855 and John Allen born 1859.  Does anyone know who she married.  I have been told she never married.
She is buried in the Salem Cemetery in Tift County, GA along with her son John and Millie Whaley Woodard.

Jerimiah Willis was my great grandfather. Could anyone tell me if he is buried at the Daniel Willis cemetery.  I heard he was buried at Kimball. I have been there and if he was, it had to be unmarked.
If I can find where he and Arminda are buried, it may help me to find where my grandmother, Irene Willis (Moore)is buried.

Jerimiah M. Willis was the second son on Benjamin and Blansett Willis.  In the Census he is listed as Martain. Middle name is Martin.  My wife's G Grandfather is John McDaniel Willis.  Son of Jerimiah and  brother to Benjamin Warren Willis  and George Willis
Jerimiah is a brother to the Daniel Willis buried in the Daniel Willis Cemetery.

My great grandfather was Benjamin Warren Willis, brother to George T. Willis.  George and MaryJane's children are buried here in this cemetary.  I noticed it was written that you could not make the connection to this George Willis.  Benjamin's parents were Jeremiah Willis and Malinda Warren Willis.  My mother has been researching my fathers line for many years and we now belive that Jeremiah and Daniel were brothers and that because Jeremiah would have been the oldest son he is never listed on any census records.  We have the whole line as far back as Benjamin I.  It makes sense that they would all have sons named Jeremiah. And it also makes sense now why George's children would be buried in his uncle's cemetary.

Nice photos, one note on number 16 for ophelia (willis) McGinnis, this should be McINNIS. She was my grandmother married to Neil Watson McInnis.

=======================

From Kathy Fowler: I'll add a note to the entry, but I wrote the caption to match the headstone--which says McGinnis.
