Christmas Letter & Album (December 27, 2006)Merry Christmas to All,
A Happy New Year to you!
I know the former is past and the latter may be too,
But all our best wishes still go out to you.
This has been a year of many blessings,
of changes, of growth and only a little stressing.
Everyone enjoyed good health when reflected,
with over a 100 years of living between Liz and I
some aches and pains are clearly to be expected.
The boys keep growing and that keeps us going,
Tommy is nine and Theo is tall,
He is 15 next month and 6 foot two all in all,
He grew four inches since last December,
He has grown so fast it is hard to remember,
A tiny little premee surrounded by tubes,
So weak he was baptized in the NICU.
He is on the computer it seem an awful lot,
But earning a Life Scout rank when he is not.
Tommy is always running,
The fastest in his class,
Though that’s with his feet,
I wish it were math,
In basketball and soccer
Tommy is fearless,
He has a dirt bike,
Getting all muddy? He could care less.
Liz continues to work harder that ever,
She’s proved an idea about which she was quite clever.
She determined why Eastern Tropical Pacific dolphins
Haven’t repopulated and why they may never,
Let’s hope they listen and act to keep the dolphins safe,
At least she found this out before it was too late.
It was a year where I took some knocks
but have faired better than some who worked for Cheops,
I also worked on a pyramid for two years nearly,
But I got out from under, and I wasn’t buried.
Now I’m working for some folks from Hong Kong,
The job is great but trips to the home office are 15 hours long.
We sell city-wide WiFi, wireless internet,
If it hasn’t come to your town,
Don’t worry, it will yet.
