Roaring Forks
Roaring Forks Nature trail is a 5 mile winding, one-way trail that starts in downtown Gatlinburg. It offers rushing mountain streams, glimpses of old-growth forest, and a number of preserved log cabins, a grist mill, and other historic buildings.
It was raining to heavy overcast on the day we went. I relied upon my 17 - 55 f2.8 lens in those dreary conditions. I didn't get out in the rain to photograph the old buildings as I had done them in '07. | Date(s): May 11 2009. Album by Judy Howle. Photos by Judy Howle. 1 - 18 of 18 Total. 564 Visits. |
