Oktibbeha County Lake
We visited the lake on the 15th and the eagle was on a limb by the nest and then it flew twice and did not return the 2nd time. Unfortunately it was very cloudy and so the photos are pretty bland. We saw lots of ring-billed gulls and had fun shooting them flying and landing.
Numbers 23 - 28 were taken Wednesday Feb. 20 and we were delighted to discover a chick in the nest! And to watch the eagle fly over the lake. |
