Our grandson (Logan 6yrs and mildly autistic) was introduced to the world of birds by his grandmother Karen (my wife).  She found a telephone number in our paper (Mpls. Tribune) that has recordings of bird calls and had him listen to it and now we have the youngest bird expert that we know.  He has listened to the recordings numerous times to the extent that he has memorized the sequence of each bird recorded and their full name.  

I have identified several web-sites with bird pictures (yours included) and have printed copies that he is compiling in a loose leaf binder.  He goes through that collection several times a day and really enjoys the activity.  We feel that this is a much more constructive and creative activity then playing video games etc.  

We want to thank you for your excellent collection of bird pictures and want you to know that you have a very loyal fan in Minnesota along with his family members who really value his new found passion.
