Seller's description.
Rare black quivering Camellia necklace, circa 1940s. Unsigned but very likely designed by Adolph Katz for Coro. Goldtone metal with black enamel detailing and clear rhinestone accents. The spring-mounted stones in the center flower tremble. The focal area extends about 6" across the center. The 3-dimensional tremblant camellia drops approximately 1-3/4". Quivering Camellia pieces are highly collectible and featured in several books on collectible costume jewelry.

This brooch is one of my early purchases of vintage jewelry & it is still my absolute favorite of all. It is 3"x2-1/2", with gorgeous swirls & curls filled with crystal rhinestones. It is heavy & the gold is so smooth & elegant. Any ideas would be very much appreciated.
