The day after... A few brave souls dragged themselves out for Down City's Drag Brunch, held the third Sunday of every month. This month the tips were being donated to ACOS!
It was hot and humid outside, but the laughter was flying inside!

Christmas in July 2008 (July 19, 2008)-
The 5th Annual Christmas in July Fundraiser on Snow Street, hosted by the Dark Lady as a benifit for ACOS' FACTS House was a big success.
Of special note were the check presentations by Dark Lady of $10,200 raised for ACOS during the Pride Block Party and $1,001 by John Duncan, Mr. Gay South Shore 2007 raised during his Step Down Party at Bobby's Place in Tauton, MA.

For the 5th year we celebrated Kitty Litter and Jeanne D'Agonstino Birthday's by turning the celebration into a fundraiser for ACOS. Returning to the Biltmore's Garden Terrace everyone had fun and the pasta bar was fabulous!

Life's A Drag Movie Premiere !!! (April 14, 2008)-
It was a first time event in Providence when the movie “Life’s A Drag” Premiered at Trinity Rep Theater in Providence. For a year Laura followed the Ladies of Providence (Sabrina, Kitty, BB, & LaDiva) documenting their life, their stories, and the laughter. A sold out house enjoyed a cocktail hour with food donateted by Down City, and then both a live performance and the film.
Partial proceeds from the tickets benefited FACTS Nursery.

April 2008 Hi-Tini (April 7, 2008)-
AIDS Care Ocean State held their monthly Hi-Tini Cocktail Hour Fundraiser at Providence’s Down City Restaurant. Co-Hosted by Miss Rhode Island 2007 Ashley Bickford and the members of the Imperial Court of Rhode Island, the evening found a crowd ready to get rid of the Monday blues.
The topper of the evening was when the staff of Down City announced that they had put out a special donation jar for the past month and presented ACOS with the check!

It was a wild time in Providence this past Saturday night when AIDS Care Ocean State held their annual Mardi Gras Ball. The costumes, the food, the music, resulted in a fun filled night. For those who couldn’t make it enjoy the photos.

The cast of the National Touring Company of the "Wedding Singer" came to Mirabar to hod a fundraiser for AIDS Project Rhode Island and AIDS Care Ocean State. Having the whole cast present and their band made the evening a special one indeed.

Sabrina Blaze Show 2008 (January 11 - 12, 2008)-
The winter's cold couldn't keep her down. Sabrina Blaze returned to the historic Columbus Theater for not one but two nights, with an entirely new show.
Enjoy the photos from the one time only event! There are photos from the Friday and Saturday performances and then from the After Party Celebration at the Dark Lady after the Saturday night show.

The Hi-Hat Club was a happening place when Kitty, BB, LaDiva and Sabrina presented their cabaret show "Guys As Dolls", a fundraiser for ACOS.
The house was sold out, and despite the light snow outside, the laugher was warm and inviting inside.

Saturday December 1st, found Kitty, BB, Sabrina, LaDiva, Krystal, Haley and the Nutcracker at a the home of Eric & Joe for a "Blue Christmas" fundraiser for ACOS. Guests who attended donated over $4,100 to ACOS.
What a wonderful, warm way to start the December party season.
