1 This is the first piece of Vigneri jewelry that I purchased. This one started the investigation.
PS, The jewelry in this album is not for sale. It is part of my collection.
2 Frank and Anne Vigneri circ 1980. Check the earrings, they are similar to the ones in photo #100 in this album.
3 These are some of the fabulous homes in Placitas where Anne and Frank Vigneri live.
4 This is Anne outside on the patio of Blades restaurant in Placitas. She is an elegant lady.
5 Anne in Las Vegas.
6 Introducing Frank Vigneri and his 12 foot Gecko. This one is under construction for a client in Placitas.
9 These are three of the four Saluki dogs that the Vigneri's own and show. These dogs are the sweetest dogs!
Fiama' jumps for joy, her beau 'Caruso' licks his chops, and 'Saja'waits...and waits and....
10 'Caruso'is soooooo sweet. He loves to be loved, and he is also a character.
11 Look how tall he is. :) He's just cleaning up for Anne.
12
13 Most of the cuffs are quite thick as this one is. The photos don't show you the thick layer of Plexiglas that is on the outside. You do see the color that is on the inside.
14 The thicker the bracelet, the harder it is to get on and off. I have an average wrist, and I can wear these bracelets easily. It all depends on the placement of the bones in your wrist I think.
18 Most signatures look like this. Some have an issue number on them, most are dated.
19 If you look carefully here, you can see that the plastic pieces are one piece folded over the grey cord. In the closeup photos, you can see the indents, and the frosting.
27 Anne said they called this color "Coke Bottle Green." Frank signed these earrings for me, but most are unsigned. "There were too many," Anne said.

32 You can see by the opening, that this bracelet is a bangle style, not a cuff.
33
34 The gold, is a cord wrapped around the bracelet and the ends of the cord are encased into the plastic. There are two holes, and the ends are glued into the holes.
52 This necklace is a blue, dark blue, black and has flecks of gold and red also. The back of the plastic is black.

61 The Vigneri's didn't make the sunglasses, but they did have design control. Their name appears on the glasses. This didn't prove to be a good idea, so was short lived.
79 I found this necklace on Ebay, and I love it. Anne was so thrilled to see it because it was one of the first pieces that they made. She was so happy to see that the black leather part of the necklace has survived very well. The last photo of this piece shows the date 1982 and the number 295.

85 Although quite large, these earrings are feather light. All of the earrings are light weight.
116 Lots of the Vigneri pieces incorporate this layered effect. I hope you can see the three and four layers on these earrings.
117
118 Just trying to show you the layers.
119
120 This is one of the Vigneri signature pieces. They called it the "lobster". The carving is on the inside of the bracelet. The outside is curved into the middle and is smooth.
136 This is the early earring clip. When the company stopped making this clip, Vigneri went to the style clip that you have seen on the other earrings. This early clip is the only example that I have.

142 Now this bracelet looks goofy in my photos, but it is wonderful to wear. When you put it on, the pointy part points up your arm. Fabulous colors.

146 These earrings are carved....frosted and smooth facets.
149 Getting creative here with the photos. There are three bracelets here, meant to be worn as one. You can see the demo on Sarah's arm in further photos. Photo 153 shows that there are smooth and frosty indents.

156 A very nice cuff, this one is scored on top, and painted with silver inside of the scores.
163 I love this one too. It is silver and gold. The design is the same as the first bracelet shown. It just has different colors.

169 This cuff is signed on the inside, in the painted surface.
170 This is an interesting shape. There is a band of silver paint on the inside of this bracelet that is on your arm. Little flecks of gold are on the silver.
220 Love the red. I think you can see clearly, the layers.
221 I just love this design. It looks goofy when you see it on the table, but it is wonderful to wear. It goes with the curve of your arm. Looks like a wide cuff on top, but tapers to the narrow under arm opening.
283 Another multiple piece necklace. This one has eleven "arrowhead" shaped pieces. It is black plexiglas with white paint splash pattern and clear plexiglas on top. Each piece is black leather wrapped and it has a toggle clasp.
The necklace is Almost 19 inches long. The "arrowheads" are 2" long.

287 Created in the late 1980's this style was CRAZY complicated! Seven seperately carved and laminated "arrowhead" shapes. Each piece was wrapped with cord and drilled and strung on heavy elastic. This particular bracelet is black plexiglas with a black leather cord wrap, white paint shows the black plexiglas on the bottom and clear plexiglas on the top.
1 7/8" across the width of the "arrowhead"

291 These brooches are shown in a local San Francisci paper circa 1980. They are shown as hair decorations. Sort of stuck out on top of a back of the head bun.
310 These are also from a Christmas collection. They are wonderful, and huge.

314 Created in the late 1980's this style was CRAZY complicated! Seven seperately carved and laminated "arrowhead" shapes. Each piece was wrapped with cord and drilled and strung on heavy elastic. This particular bracelet is black plexiglas with a black leather cord wrap, and gold leaf, burgundy paint and clear plexiglas on the top.
1 7/8" across the width of the "arrowhead"
315
316
317 This is the only one! It was too labor intensive to repeat as there were too many angles to process. It consists of frosted black plexiglas with laminated red and gold "stones" attached to the black plexiglas.
About 1 1/2" across.
318 Streaks on the inside of the bracelet are from the Lucite tube.
320 Silver dangle earrings. "A bitch to assemble." Quote taken from the creators. :)
321
322 These are perfect with the bracelet in Photo #68.
323 Yes, this earring IS as bright an smooth as it appears in the photos. The top is a black plexiglas base with a pillow shape of blue metalic paint. The dangles are a chartreuse, deep orange and yellow paint with clear plexiglas on top. Just a wonderful color combination. 3" long.
324 This is clear plexiglas in a free form outline with opening that folds on itself at one side. The surface is painted in a stipple pattern with metalic brite and muted gold. Very nice on the wrist.
3" across the opening.
325 The opening for your wrist is 1".
326
327
328 Another "claw" cuff.
Black plexiglas surface painted with a two tone free form pattern. The colors are brick and rust. From a fall collection.
2 1/4" at the widest point.
329 The opening for your wrist is 1 3/16". Almost.....1 1/4".
339 This one is one of the first of the collection....made in 1982. Very smooth, easy to wear, quite thin and light. Lots of waves and curves to this one.
340
341
342 The light hits the different curves which make the cuff flash as you move.
My daughter sent this website to me... How beautiful everything is !!!!!!!!!! - VICKIE VIGNERI MUSCOREIL LACHUT, Sun, 11 Dec 2011 6:17PM
Anne's mother and my mother were sisters. We have been out of touch but years ago Anne gave the family some of her jewelry of which I have treasured and of course still have. For a short time she sold her jewelry to a very nice jewelry store in Marblehead,Mass. where I live. So happy to have seen the sight - Lots of love and good luck to Anne and Frank. - Maureen Ashley, Mon, 25 Apr 2011 1:43PM
