I love to embellish my art items, always looking through my stash for the right bits and pieces.
This art collage was no exception, using a stamped image, with many design papers and ephemera. Further embellished with flower gems, filigree crown, a found brass door handle back, wire hanger, beads and beaded fringe along the bottom. She truly is the Butterfly Queen in all her glory!
Done on a 4 x 6 chipboard base, the completed piuece is approx 12 inches long from end to end.

Using a 2 x 2 slide with a full back, collaged and decorated with a variety of vintage and design papers. Embellished with a brass filligree piece.
The dangle at the bottom is made of the same design papers with a faux pearl in a goldtone claw drop hanger.
The hanger is made from a goldtone herringbone chain with a spiral wire at the top for hanging.
Could be used as an ornament, or draped in your altered art and scrapbook projects. Makes a lovely victorian Christmas tree ornament.
