| Buddy & Molly February 3, 2013 Dallas, TX
Meet Mo Mo Molly and her son Buddy Boy. Molly and Buddy came to rescue in August 2012. Molly was about 1 1/2 and Buddy was just a little boy of about 3-4 months and 6lbs. Someone had put them in a cardboard box in Oklahoma and left them next to a dumpster in triple-digit heat. Then they ended up at the local animal shelter which euthanizes at a high capacity and has no climate control- winter or summer. Molly & Buddy have blossomed since then. Buddy has all of his big boy teeth now and has grown to 16-17 lbs as he is nearing a year old. We think maybe his daddy had some Beagle in him. Molly is a feisty, compact 10 lbs and wouldn't dream of letting Buddy snatch her food or chewie, anymore. They have had all of their vetting done - all shots and spay/neuter and have no medical issues. Although they have both turned into magnetic lap dogs, when they are asked, they will each go into their crate - whether for a few hours in the day or all night. We have a fenced yard, so they do business outside - and are doing better with the inclimate weather. (I will not lie and say that we are completely accident free). In the car they were terrific, and will walk on a leash. They get along with other dogs and with the cat. They are very bonded, so we feel they would do best in a home together. Both do well with all ages of humans.
The adoption fee for both, only to an approved home, is $285. In a rare case, we would consider splitting them at $150 each. Please contact Katherine or Jennifer with Chili's Rescue at either: 817-637-1213 (Kat) 972-964-4806 (Jennifer) jjeaches@aol.com |
