Hello! My name is Chica - happy to meet you! I am lovely female Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix, born in 2010, weighing about 8lbs. I am a true survivor... you see, I was found by a kind person running along Interstate 25! I am seeking a wonderful and loving forever family who will spoil and adore me. My foster mom wants you to know that I am fully house-trained, a joy to have around, and the perfect house-guest. Once we get acquainted, and I know you are a kind & gentle soul, I will be your loyal companion for life... however; I need a little time to make sure, so please go slow with me when we meet. I am learning to feel safe around other dogs, so it will help if you can help me continue my training in this area. I will probably do best as the only pet for now. I love to play with my toys, go for brisk walks, and curl up under my blanket. I am the perfect combination of active young girl and couch potato. After our fun, I am content to snuggle up with you on the couch (and I absolutely adore having my belly rubbed!). My foster mom also wants you to know that while I am a perfect angel for 9 hours alone during the work week...I would prefer not being left alone so long...as I am a true companion-hearted girl and long to be with you!
