2008 Big I Legislative Conference
Nearly 70 North Carolina delegates traveled to Washington, DC to represent IIANC at IIABA's National Legislative Conference. Our group consisted of agency members, company representatives, insurance students and faculty, and association staff.
During the conference we met with all of North Carolina's elected officials, heard important legislative information from several key legislators, picked up our National Championship awards for IIANC's InsurPAC donations, and once again, hosted the "famous" North Carolina pig-pickin' for our legislators and their staffs!

InsurPAC and Young Agents Luncheon (April 2, 2008)| IIANC was honored with two "National Championship" awards for our outstanding efforts with InsurPAC in 2007. Both the association and the Young Agents received awards for raising more money for InsurPAC than any other state. Thanks to all those who gave in 2007 and helped us achieve this prestigous honor! |

IIANC's Pig Pickin' on Capitol Hill (April 3, 2008)| IIANC continued its annual tradition this year of hosting an authentic North Carolina style pig pickin' for legislators, their staff, our delegates and national IIABA staff. This year, the delegations from Georgia and South Carolina also joined us. |
