Jim, I've been to San Francisco many times. I used to be in the Navy stationed on the USS Kansas City (AOR 3) out of Naval Air Station Alameda, Ca. I live in Sacramento, which is 90 miles from Frisco. Anthony

My great-grandfather was also James Rankin, my father August Arthur Nagel was born in one of the 2 small houses that used to be located next to the fort. I enjoyed seeing your photos. 05/10/05
