The 2006 SRT Coronado Speed Festival was a wonderful experience for car and car racing enthusiasts. A plethora of antique aswell as current vehicles paraded their stuff. The less than optimally charged battery in my camera did not allow me to include the great car club displays, which I covered last year extensively. So see the 2005 edition for the clubs. I did not take any videos last year, perhaps reducung my battery life in the process, but I have some good ones this year. The Navy had an impressive demonstration of the LCAC, the big air cushion vehicle that can transport an A-1 tank or a bunch of HumVees with troops at 50+ knots from a ship to shore. Enjoy the uploads. The movies will need to go to "I-Tunes" as their upload limits are more liberal.
