1 The skate is placed into a holder and the edge run through the sharpening machine.	2 Boehms will customize your skate edge to whatever depth or sharpness you desire. Only trained professionals will sharpen your skates at Boehms.	3 The edge of the blade is honed to remove burrs.
4 The last step in the process is to check the depth and accuracy with a dial indicator...a step most other shops don't include.
