Tribute
6 foot tall cut out board. The inspiration for this was a soldier in a painting by Winslow Homer that was Homer's tribute to the South at the end of the Civil War.

Flamingo mural
Here is the wall so far... I added lots of definition and color to the sky and water...
The next step is to paint in the surf between the waves across the middle.  (I ran out of white so will finish that part in the next session).

St.Ann's Home, Methuen, Ma
CLICK ON PICTURES TO ENLARGE  These murals are in Methuen, Ma. at the new failiity for boys. (St. Ann's Home),
This project consisted of 14 wall sections, several were 17 feet and a few were 13 feet long.  It was finished in 18 days.  My students/friends from my NH Thursday night group came for this painting seminar. They basecoated, varnished and painted details and large areas. Paid was furnighsed by Plaid Paints, Folk Art.  It was finished on schedule.

Working on the "Good Morning" wall.  The walls were designed in this dorm so I would have maximum space to paint.  My intention was to add color, interest and as many things as I could think of to brighten and personalize this space for the boys so they would be proud to live here.

We painted this wall in about 4 days while working on other things.  It's hard to paint a seventeen foot landscape in that lengh of time...I could keep working on it for a week more...but have to call it done.

Boston Harbor Skyline window
This is a 6 foot long wall.  Plan to paint Boston Skyline, from the harbor side.  This is a hallway to go out onto the roof deck.

Winter end of dorm
The other end of the dorm is tropical and this end will have a winter window, the fireplace and  sporting equipment, Also a Boston skyline window....so much to do!  My last day to paint is April 15 before going back to Florida
