Thanks Dad for;
Bouncing me on your knees when I was a baby,
Proudly holding my hand and taking me to work with you,
Trusting me with firecrackers long before Mom would,
Teaching me to ride a bike without training wheels,
Showing me how to hit a baseball and catch without flinching,
Being patient with me during my angry teenage years,
Having confidence in me to succeed in college and career,
Encouraging me to live a life without alcohol,
Being a super Dad to Carol and I in our marriage,
Being a Grandfather to Melody, David and Matthew,
Making an important spiritual decision in 1993,
MOST of all, thanks for the closeness we shared over the past 6 months!!!
