1 Our 9th baby (Not Photographed) was stuck between both horns and could not be born naturally. She was not alive when pulled out by the Vet.
Opal will have a special Angel watching over her.
We named her "Angel"
2 Our 1st born came out with no sign of life. I did CPR on her for 10 minutes then knew it was time to let him go. He must had been gone for a while as his skin had started peeling (this is normally seen in puppies that have passed prior to birth).
Opal's puppies will be protected from above.
We named him "Heaven"
3 Here you can see the peeling skin.
The loss of these two puppies remind us of the realities and risks of breeding. We also feel blessed that Opal did so well. Had we not had emergency surgery she too could have passed. We feel more blessed than ever to have Opal in our life.
