Mosaic of Evil Charnock Woman
The 25m pavement mosaic tells the Bibbullmun Dreaming Story of the Evil Charnock Woman. Four Magpie Totems in Flight symbolise the Spirit People who turned themselves into Magpies to attack the Evil Charnock Woman who used her hair as a net to trap children.
Bibbullmun Dreaming Story
Aboriginal Legend continued. During the battle, the Charnock Woman was flung into the sky and formed the Milky Way.
This Magnificent Tree is of special significance to the Aboriginal People.

This Tree has been used in many ways by the Bibbullmun People at this location on the Banks of the Derbal Yaragan (Swan River). It is hereby recognised for Harmony and Friendship.

Darter (Anhinga melanogaster). Long pointed bill. Snake-shaped neck. Long rounded tail. Habitat: Lakes, Rivers, Swamps. Often immerses in water up to neck. Holds wings out 'to dry' when perched.
